Over the past ten years I have done a fair amount of photography and graphics work for real estate brokers and developers in Western North Carolina. I enjoy this type of work very much, and I think my clients have always been pleased. But starting in 2008 the work pretty much dried up, for economic reasons just about all of us experienced to some extent, some more than others.

There is still one realtor in Haywood County who “hires” me pretty regularly. That would be my wife, Barbara, who is a licensed real estate broker. Barb doesn’t do real estate sales but uses her license to list, market and sell houses she purchases and renovates. I think the technical term is “flipping.” Whatever you call it, I can attest that she’s darn good at it, as she is at everything she undertakes.

Here’s an email flyer I created that was sent to all realtors in Haywood and Buncombe counties. The home was ours, in Canton, NC. We purchased it in 2003, and sold it in 2011 in order to move into one of Barb’s renovations in Waynesville. I’ll post that one next.
